IP69K Stainless Steel Enclosures

IP69K waterproof means the enclosure is sealed against powerful water jets used in industrial cleaning processes. Unlike IP67 (submersion up to 1 meter) or IP68 (deeper submersion), IP69K specifically addresses high-pressure spray at close range and elevated temperatures, making it uniquely suitable for food and beverage washdown applications.

The IP69K stainless steel enclosure (model T912302) is compatible with FLIR A40, A50, and A70 thermal cameras. The electro-polished A316L stainless steel body includes a 41.9 mm germanium IR window with DLC/AR coatings to maintain full radiometric measurement accuracy while the camera remains sealed inside.

The IP69K enclosure is manufactured from A316L stainless steel, electro-polished to a surface roughness of Ra <0.8 μm. This material resists corrosion from aggressive cleaning agents and prevents bacterial adhesion, making it suitable for food processing, pharmaceutical, and chemical production environments where hygiene is critical.

Yes. The IP69K enclosure is EHEDG certified and uses FDA-certified materials for all gaskets and seals. Optional EHEDG-certified cable glands in A316L stainless steel with food-grade TPU inserts are also available, making the full assembly compliant with strict food safety and hygienic design regulations.

Each IP69K enclosure ships with a complete installation kit including a quick start guide, lens tube, enclosure body, camera retaining ring, wedge, stainless steel cable gland, M4 and M3 screws, and a syringe with thermal paste. The kit is designed to enable straightforward mounting and integration without sourcing additional hardware.
