Both IP65 and IP66 enclosures are dust-tight, but they differ in water jet resistance. IP65 protects against low-pressure water jets from any direction, while IP66 provides protection against more powerful, high-pressure water jets. For demanding industrial environments with high-pressure cleaning or strong water exposure, IP66 offers superior protection over IP65.
