All FLIR A700-series cameras deliver ±2°C (±3.6°F) or ±2% of reading accuracy, whichever is greater. This applies when operating within an ambient temperature range of 15°C to 35°C and measuring objects above 0°C, ensuring reliable, repeatable thermal data across a wide range of applications.

FLIR A700-series cameras support Gigabit Ethernet (GigE Vision, GenICam, RTSP), optional Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n), Power over Ethernet (PoE IEEE 802.3af class 3), and industrial protocols including Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, MQTT, and REST API — enabling seamless integration with SCADA, HMI, VMS, and IIoT platforms.

The Standard Kit includes a 24° lens and supports infrared image mode with Gigabit Ethernet streaming. The Professional Kit adds a 5-megapixel visual camera, 2.0X Macro lens, MSX® image enhancement, Wi-Fi radiometric data streaming, and an extended temperature measurement range up to 2000°C, making it better suited for advanced R&D workflows.

All FLIR A700 Science Kits include FLIR Research Studio software, which provides an intuitive Connect→View→Record→Analyze workflow. The software supports radiometric data capture, real-time analysis, multi-camera comparison, and collaboration — enabling engineers and scientists to reduce ramp-up time and accelerate thermal analysis projects.

The FLIR A700 Smart Sensor and Image Streaming cameras are rated IP66, providing complete dust protection and resistance to powerful water jets — suitable for harsh industrial environments. The Science Kit models carry an IP54 rating as standard, upgradeable to IP66 with an optional accessory for more demanding deployment conditions.
