Non-Visible Imaging Webcast

MoviTHERM Hosts Webcast with Vision Systems Design Magazine

The Vision Systems Design Magazine is hosting a webcast on March 12th, 2020 on non-visible imaging, hyper-spectral, multi-spectral and infrared imaging.

This round-table format webcast on non-visible imaging, is hosted by the Vision Systems Design magazine and will air live on March 12th, 2020. A panel of machine vision experts will be discussing the latest advances in this technology. Registrants are encouraged to submit their application questions ahead of time for discussion.

Non-Visible Imaging

MoviTHERM Skeyes UAV Thermal Crop Imaging System

The machine vision expert panel is comprised of of three industry experts with a combined experience of over 85 years. There are a lot of machine vision and non-industrial vision applications that make use of the spectral behavior of materials. The interesting non-visible imaging spectral behaviors are typically found in the non-visible region of the elector-magnetic spectrum. These start in the near infrared region (NIR), go through the short wave infrared (SWIR), the midwave infrared (MWIR) all the way into the long wave infrared (LWIR).

The panel will consist of:David Dechow, Principal Vision Systems Architect, Integro Technologies; Markus Tarin, President & CEO, MoviTHERM and MoviMED; Perry West, Founder and President of Automated Vision Systems, Inc.

Make sure to register for this webcast on non-visible imaging here. Even if you do not have time to attend, the webcast will be available on demand for another twelve months, after it has aired.

The above screenshot is from MoviTHERM’s Skeyes UAV Thermal Crop Imaging System. That system utilizes an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The UAV is equipped with a FLIR thermal camera for imaging sugar cane crops. The FLIR camera provides thermal infrared measurements of the crop during fly over. That data is then being used to determine any crop stresses due to under irrigation.
