Multispectral Fixed Thermal Camera for Early Fire Detection
The FLIR FH-Series R are ruggedized, multispectral fixed cameras that integrate industry-leading thermal imaging with 4K visible imaging to provide rapid visual verification of hot spots in early fire detection applications. 129LC is a liquid-cooled CCTV camera housing specifically designed for industrial high-temperature applications (steelworks, foundries, furnaces, rolling mills). The 129LC is made of two concentrically stainless steel tubes forming a liquid chamber that cools down the camera. The front plate is conceived to create an air barrier that cools and protects the glass from the formation of dust and deposits, especially useful when the housing is located near ovens or dusty places. The Tecnovideo ABFL-01 Air Filtering system is recommended to grant clean air to the front window, filtering out water and oil particles. The IRS Calilux, a Smart Blackbody for Infrared Cameras, is an indispensable component when it comes to building a truly fail-safe temperature imaging system. By transmitting the actual blackbody temperature, the camera can automatically detect whether it is still measuring accurately and send a corresponding signal to the connected process control technology. Within adjustable limits, it can also correct its measurements based on the blackbody temperature to obtain highly accurate measurement results. This can increase the accuracy of an IRSX camera to up to ±0.3°C. In practice, the IRS Calilux can also be used to verify the calibration of infrared cameras on-site. Removing the camera and sending it back to the manufacturer, along with associated costs and temporary downtime of the camera system, can often be avoided. For this purpose, our smart blackbody radiator is supplied with a traceable, highly precise radiometric calibration. Communication between the IRSX camera and IRS Calilux can be done via Ethernet or WLAN, ensuring maximum flexibility in practical use. -
