Description
The thermal imager Optris PI 640i is the smallest measuring VGA infrared camera worldwide. With an optical resolution of 640×480 pixels, the PI 640i delivers pin-sharp radiometric pictures and videos in real-time.
With a body-sized 45x56x90 mm (1.77 x 2.20 x 3.54 in) and weighing only 320 grams (11.3 oz) (lens included), the Optris PI 640i counts among the most compact thermal imaging cameras on the market.
Highlights:
- Temperature range: -20 °C to 900 °C (-4 °F to 1652 °F)
(optional up to 1 500 °C [2732 °F]) - Spectral range: 8 to 14 µm
- Frame rate: up to 125 Hz
- Software and I/O interface included
The Optris PI 640i infrared camera is designed for applications that require measurement of the finest thermal details. Through complimentary software it displays radiometric measurements in real-time with 640 x 480 pixel resolution at 32Hz or in subframe-mode with 640 x 120 pixel resolution at 125Hz for time sensitive applications. It’s small size is suitable for use in confined spaces.
The Optris PI Connect Software offers extensive analysis of measurement data both on and off line. It can be customized to suit the demands of even the most unique applications. Features include automatic process and quality control, video recording, snap shot, and remote control of the camera. The PI connect software is necessary to interpret measurement results and is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and computer systems using Windows 7, 8, and 10.
Features:
- Exchangeable, focusable optics for most flexible use of the camera
- Analysis of small chip level components down to 28 μm
- Hands-free operation for simultaneous testing and IR imaging
- Frame rates up to 125 Hz allow inspection of fast processes (like pulsed laser diodes)
- Radiometric video or tiff recording with ±2°C measurement accuracy
- License-free analysis software and complete SDK included
High-resolution microscope optics for test and measurement:
This microscope optics infrared camera can be equipped both with standard optics to image the entire circuit board and microscope optics to resolve tiny devices.
This infrared camera with microscope optics present high resolution infrared images detailing thermal variations on targets as small as 28 μm.
The high-quality thermal and geometric detail resolution of the infrared cameras ensures precise functional testing of electronic products, as even the smallest temperature differences can be accurately detected.
Applications:
- For the inspection of electronic boards
- Full board and small devices
- Detailed macro shots of individual components
